Subdued (Commission)

     Conner woke up excruciatingly late compared to the usual time he found himself conscious. It was simply another day in the forest he had secluded himself to, but his mechanical arm was a bit more stiff than usual.Suddenly, his arm flashed and a green light shone from it. A voice sounded from it. A familiar voice.
    "C-Conner? Are you there? Well, hopefully. This is kinda automated. Anyways, while you slept, I hired some guys that I know to install this phone-like thingy in your arm. So... I can contact you if needed. But anyways, we do need you. Everyone else is already gathered here, so just... Come to the building. We made sure it was at a town near where you are... Just head West. We're in the shed-lookin' thing. Hector out."
    Hector? No... It couldn't be. He moved with his mother a few months ago... But whatever. Conner barreled through the dense trees toward the town. The odd little town that nobody seemed to acknowledge. When he finally found himself in the town, it was practically deserted. The town was in a wide state of disarray. A quiet conversation was being held in a shed-like building, strangely looking unscathed in the ruins. Conner opened the door, only to see his (still living) friends.
    Hector and Yumi were there, but Vaughn was nowhere to be seen. Yumi interrupted Hectors thoughts moments later.
    "Thank God you're here. There's some kind of new... Supervillain, if you will. He's the cause of this chaos. We hear he's hiding out at the Central Tower... So... That's where we're going."
    Hector and Conner nodded their heads in unison as they trekked out of the building into the devastated town. No other people were seen... Hector claimed they were all dead. The central tower wasn't too far away. It was only a 3 minute walk or so. They finally arrived. The Central Tower was extremely large. It looked to be about 10 stories high and in perfect condition. A strange figure walked out from the sliding doors.
    "I see that you're here to defeat me... Good luck with that."
And at that very moment, a humongous Mech built itself around the anonymous villain. Conner jumped up a high as possible and used his mechanical arm to punch the gigantic robot. It did nothing.
    "I know who we need..." Hector said as he pulled out his cell phone.
    In a pitch black flat, a young man sat in the corner, head in his hands. A light flashed and vibration was heard as he picked up the phone and answered in a sullen voice.
    "He...Hello?"
    "Yes, Vaughn. We need you. Now. In the town by the forest. Now. Seriously.  Gotta go. Bye"
    Vaughn ran as fast as he could towards the town, trying to keep his shadow concealed. When he saw the monstrosity, his shadow was freed. It repeatedly pummeled and hammered at the Mech, making a large dent each time. Eventually, the Mech was destroyed, leaving only the still unnamed supervillain. He surrendered. Almost immediately. He was put in the slammer and never heard of again.
